Wage War Announce New Album ‘Landfall’
Wage War have announced their new album 'Landfall', due for release on 9 October via Fearless Records, marking a follow-up to the sonic direction set by their earlier 2026 EP 'IT CALLS ME BY NAME'. Guitarist and vocalist Cody Quistad described the record as an effort to distil the band's most identifiable sound, drawing on the best elements of their past work rather than following trends, which matters for fans looking to see how the band's identity has evolved a decade into their career.
The 13-track album includes 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Song Of The Swamp', both previously released on the EP, alongside the newly unveiled title track, which the band describe as dealing with themes of imminent danger and loss of control, inspired by their Florida roots and hurricane imagery. Alongside the album announcement, Wage War confirmed a UK and European headline tour for January 2027, with support from Invent Animate and Windwaker, taking in cities including Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Cologne, Munich and Berlin.
