Walt Disney Studios has passed $4 billion at the global box office in 2026, becoming only the second studio after Universal to reach that milestone this year. The achievement underlines Disney's continued dominance in Hollywood, a position it has held as the top-grossing studio in nine of the last ten years, and comes ahead of major upcoming releases including Avengers: Doomsday in December.

Pixar's Toy Story 5 leads Disney's slate with more than $1.095 billion worldwide, while 20th Century Studios' The Devil Wears Prada 2 has taken close to $692 million, pushing that franchise past $1 billion combined. Pixar's original film Hoppers has added nearly $390 million, while Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu ($345 million) and the live-action Moana ($281.5 million) have performed more modestly. Disney is set to reveal its 2027 slate at the D23 fan event in Anaheim, with further releases including The Dog Stars, Wild Horse Nine and Hexed still to come this year.
