Disney's D23 fan event in Anaheim confirmed two high-profile additions to the cast of "Hexed," the studio's upcoming animated fantasy film: Walton Goggins, known for playing The Ghoul in "Fallout," and two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster. The casting news came amid a wave of major announcements at the event, underscoring Disney's efforts to build buzz for its 2026 animation slate ahead of the film's cinema release.

Goggins will voice a three-eyed cat named Beef Roger Crummchuk, while Foster takes on the role of a devious witch queen, joining previously announced lead Hailee Steinfeld, who plays a teenager named Billie discovering her magical powers. The cast also includes Rashida Jones, Tracey Ullman and Stephen Fry, with Fawn Veerasunthorn making her solo directorial debut after prior work on films including "Wish" and "Raya and the Last Dragon." "Hexed" is set to be released in cinemas on 25 November 2026, alongside a companion short film, "Lilo & Scratch," also co-directed by Veerasunthorn.
