Warner Bros.’ The Ranch Lands LA28 Broadcast Center In Shake Up for Summer Games
Los Angeles' Olympic organizing committee has reversed its earlier decision to establish the International Broadcast Center at the under-construction Hollywood Park Studios in Inglewood, instead selecting Warner Bros.' The Ranch in Burbank as the primary location. The shift received approval from the International Olympic Committee's executive board in June, with preparations set to begin in January 2027. The Ranch, which completed a major expansion in March 2026, will provide immediate infrastructure for the media operations hub.
The facility offers 16 operational soundstages and established production capabilities to serve approximately 8,000 broadcasters and media rights holders during the summer games. Hollywood Park Studios, part of a mixed-use development near SoFi Stadium planned by Rams owner Stan Kroenke, will now function as a supplementary facility rather than the main broadcast base. The decision prioritizes using existing, fully operational studio infrastructure over waiting for a still-developing venue.
