Warner Music Group’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer, Armin Zerza, has stepped down with immediate effect for personal reasons, after about a year in the roles. The departure matters because it creates another change at the top of the company’s finance function during a period WMG describes as one of growth and transformation.

Senior vice-president and chief accounting officer Louis Dickler will become acting CFO, while Warner Records co-chairman and COO Tom Corson will take over as WMG COO. Zerza, appointed CFO in April 2025 after serving as Activision Blizzard’s CFO, will remain available until the end of WMG’s financial year to support the transition; the company has begun searching for a permanent replacement, its third CFO since 2023.
