Warner Music MENA names Ahmed Nureni MD, brings in Ahmad Alghawanmeh from Sony Music as GM
Warner Music Group has promoted Ahmed Nureni to Managing Director of its Middle East and North Africa business and hired Ahmad Alghawanmeh from Sony Music Entertainment as regional General Manager. The appointments are intended to expand Warner Music’s commercial reach and strengthen its offer to artists across the Arab world.
Nureni will oversee strategy, corporate development, joint ventures and catalogue expansion; Alghawanmeh will lead commercial growth, business development and regional operations. Warner Music MENA operates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco. The changes follow the integration of Qanawat Music into WMG’s ADA distribution division; Nureni previously led the regional business, while Alghawanmeh has held digital roles at Universal Music Group and Sony Music.
