Mottorists should anticipate substantial delays on the evening of July 29 as police manage traffic around the exceptional load's passage. The route follows the M1 slip road at Tinsley through Attercliffe Common to Arena Square, where officers will halt traffic whilst the crane sections reverse onto Broughton Lane—a procedure required because the load's length prevents conventional turns. Police will subsequently close Carbrook Street for the crane's final delivery to the Forgemasters site. The core maneuvers are projected to require 15 to 20 minutes, though traffic disruptions may extend considerably longer during road-closure phases.
