## Summary

A Washington father who went viral after angrily confronting a Bellevue family over Christian pamphlets in his son’s Halloween treat bag has now accused the neighbours of “grooming” his children. He said the children were upset by the religious material and that giving it out with sweets felt wrong, while acknowledging his own outburst was irrational.

The pamphlet included a message that “Jesus loves you”, an explanation of sin and salvation, a prayer and a Bible verse. The father shouted and swore at the family outside their home, and the video of the incident had been viewed more than 129,000 times after it was posted on 1 November. He said he objected to proselytising on a holiday for children; online commenters criticised his reaction.
