## Key points

- Run-DMC joined Aerosmith for “Walk This Way” at the Hollywood Bowl.
- All five original members appeared across the two concerts.
- Both shows were filmed, with a future concert film possible.

## Summary

New coverage highlights the second Hollywood Bowl show’s “Walk This Way” performance, when Run-DMC joined Aerosmith onstage. The collaboration recalled their landmark 1986 version, as Steven Tyler told the audience the song was missing “some people” before Joseph Simmons and Darryl McDaniels appeared.

The concert also featured John Douglas on drums, “Come Together” and Joey Kramer’s return for one song; all five original members appeared across the two shows. Aerosmith have not played a full concert since their farewell tour was halted in 2023 after three performances, and a return to touring seems unlikely, though cameras filmed both Hollywood Bowl nights.
