The track will feature on the band's newly announced album, "Friends I Don't Like", due for release on 2 October via Severance Records/Big Loud Rock. Drummer Ryan Fox described the record as reflecting the band's refusal to fit neatly into genre boxes despite pressure from Texas's country and metal scenes, calling it "an ode to everything we love about our upbringing." The band also shared a new single, "It's A Lot", alongside the announcement.
