Hungarian vocalist Barni Kókai joined Bring Me The Horizon on stage at Sziget Festival in Budapest to perform the band’s early deathcore track ‘Pray For Plagues’. The guest appearance came during the Sheffield band’s headline set on 14 August and marked the song’s first performance of their current festival run, reflecting their renewed focus on material from their 2006 debut album, ‘Count Your Blessings’.

Kókai, frontman of Hungarian deathcore band The Southern Oracle, was selected from the crowd as part of the show’s apocalyptic storyline, although it is unclear whether Oli Sykes knew his musical background. Bring Me The Horizon’s set also featured pyrotechnics, screen effects and tracks including ‘DArkSide’, ‘MANTRA’, ‘Shadow Moses’, ‘Drown’ and ‘Throne’; Sziget’s fourth day also hosted Nia Archives, Sigrid, Skepta and Peggy Gou.
