Watch: IRON MAIDEN’s NICKO MCBRAIN Kicks Off 2026 TITANIUM TART Mini-Tour In Sanford, Florida
Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain launched a short Florida and Georgia tour with his solo project Titanium Tart, playing his first show on Saturday 29 August at The Barn in Sanford, Florida. The tour lets fans see McBrain perform Iron Maiden material live following his retirement from touring with the band, which he announced in December 2024.
The Sanford setlist featured twelve Iron Maiden songs, including "The Number Of The Beast," "The Trooper" and a three-song encore closing with "Hallowed Be Thy Name." Titanium Tart, which includes Rob Stokes, Eldad Kira, Mike Rivera, Mitch Tanne and Paolo Velazquez, will also play Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Atlanta and Clearwater through 19 September. In a recent interview, the 74-year-old McBrain reflected on his decision to step back from Maiden, saying he had considered retiring as far back as 2018-2019 but stayed on through the pandemic, a 2023 stroke, and subsequent tours before his farewell show in São Paulo, Brazil.
