Kylie Minogue headlined the pre-match entertainment at the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne on 26 September, delivering a specially created homecoming show before Brisbane played Fremantle. The performance celebrated her Melbourne roots and career, combining pop hits, Australian football nostalgia and large-scale staging.

The 20-minute set drew a crowd of more than 100,000 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and featured over 100 dancers, costume changes and pyrotechnics, despite rain beforehand. Guests included musician William Barton on ‘Confide In Me’ and G Flip on ‘Padam Padam’; the finale was a Dom Dolla club reworking of ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, performed from a platform above the stadium.
