The Rolling Stones have released footage of Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood performing an impromptu version of Ringing Hollow, a track from their forthcoming album Foreign Tongues, at an intimate listening party in London. The event marks the latest promotion for the album ahead of its release, offering fans a rare live glimpse of the band members playing one of the record's highlight songs.

The party was held on 8 July at the St Clement Hotel, a luxury venue in Aldwych that officially opens to the public in September. Jagger and Wood were joined onstage by pianist Matt Clifford, a longtime Jagger collaborator who also plays keyboards in the Stones' touring band; Keith Richards did not perform. Jagger has said the song concerns "America as an idea" and the perceived decline of the American empire, touching on themes of imperial overreach and election spending, while Richards described it more diplomatically as "a nostalgic love affair with America" tinged with disappointment. Foreign Tongues is released the following day.
