## Key points

- Noel Gallagher says Oasis’ reunion felt strong after rehearsals.
- He says sibling collaboration requires compromise.
- Oasis are scheduled for a major Live ’27 tour next year.

## Summary

Noel Gallagher discussed Oasis’ reunion, the challenge of working with a sibling and the band’s future during an appearance on the final series of Chicken Shop Date. He said the 2025 comeback felt right after rehearsals showed Oasis could sound as good as, or better than, before, and that working with a brother or sister requires compromise.

Gallagher joked that 16 years was the right gap before reviving something, referring to Oasis’ split and reunion tour. He also said he has tonnes of unreleased material, without specifying whether it is for Oasis, and reflected on how “Champagne Supernova” has gained new meaning for younger listeners. Oasis are due to play their sold-out Live ’27 tour next year, including six Knebworth concerts and an 11-night Manchester Etihad Stadium residency.
