Original UFO drummer Andy Parker performed with the tribute act Lights Out – A UFO Experience at Fitzgerald's nightclub in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday 7 August 2026. The band played UFO's celebrated 1979 live album "Strangers In The Night" in full, alongside other classic tracks, keeping the music of the influential British rock group alive following its official split.

The Lights Out lineup also featured vocalist Mark Boals, bassist Barry Sparks, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Wayne Findlay and lead guitarist John Adams, several of whom have prior ties to UFO or Michael Schenker's projects. UFO was formed in London in 1969 and achieved global success through the 1970s, notably during Michael Schenker's tenure, before frontman Phil Mogg disbanded the group in 2022 after more than 50 years, following his 2022 heart attack; keyboardist Paul Raymond had died in 2019. Fan-filmed footage of the San Antonio show has been shared online.
