Sebastian Bach made his live debut as Twisted Sister's new frontman, performing with the band for the first time at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. Bach was announced in March as the replacement for Dee Snider, who was forced to step back from live performance on medical advice, and this warm-up gig served as preparation ahead of the band's previously confirmed show in Alaska.

The band, billed under the alias Bent Brother, played a 17-song set at the 2,500-capacity venue, closing with the Twisted Sister anthem We're Not Gonna Take It. The set also featured two Skid Row songs, I Remember You and Youth Gone Wild, nodding to Bach's former band, and marked Twisted Sister's first appearance at the venue since a 2015 tribute show for late drummer A.J. Pero. Guitarist Jay Jay French praised Bach's performance, and further Twisted Sister dates are scheduled for later in the year, including a show in Palmer, Alaska, on 4 September.
