Watch The Vaccines air new song ‘Ten Years Too Far’ at Mad Cool 2026
The Vaccines debuted a new song, 'Ten Years Too Far', during their set on the opening night of Mad Cool Festival 2026 in Madrid on 8 July, with footage of the performance circulating online. The airing of the anthemic, previously unheard track marks fresh material from the indie band, who are also marking the 15th anniversary of their 2011 debut album this year.
The festival kicked off at the Iberdrola Music Villaverde site and runs until 11 July, with the opening night also featuring Foo Fighters, Wolf Alice, The Last Dinner Party, Hotwax, Moby and Villanelle. Frontman Justin Young thanked fans for "making our dreams come true" as the band mixed the new track with debut favourites such as 'Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)' and 'Post Break-Up Sex' across a 17-song set. The 2026 edition, celebrating the event's 10th anniversary, will also see performances from Pulp, Florence & The Machine and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
