A trailer has been released for Rolling Loud, a comedy set at the hip-hop festival in which Owen Wilson’s character loses his 13-year-old son amid a crowd of 60,000 fans. Travis Scott, Sexyy Red and other music figures appear as Wilson’s increasingly chaotic search takes him backstage and on to the festival stage.

The film, directed by Jeremy Garelick and backed by Rolling Loud and Live Nation, is due in US cinemas on 2 October. Its premise was loosely inspired by Garelick briefly losing track of his own son at a Rolling Loud event; one trailer scene was filmed during Scott’s December 2024 Rolling Loud Miami performance of “FE!N”.
