U2 gatecrash a family’s flat in their latest music video
U2 have released the music video for "Street of Dreams", the first single from a forthcoming album, and its filming took an unplanned turn when the band ended up commandeering a Mexico City family's flat. While shooting in Plaza Santo Domingo earlier this year, thunder and rain knocked out the generator powering the production, prompting Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr to knock on a nearby door and ask to use the family's private balcony as a back-up location.
The single is the first taster of a still-untitled U2 record due later this year, which will be their first studio album since 2017's Songs of Experience. The band resurfaced in February with two EPs, Days of Ash and Easter Lily.
