Watch Wunderhorse debut new songs ‘Kerosene’ and ‘Promises’ as they kick off 2026 North American tour

British rock band Wunderhorse have begun their 2026 North American tour and premiered two previously unheard songs, "Kerosene" and "Promises", at their live shows. The debuts give fans an early glimpse of new material following the acclaimed success of their 2024 second album "Midas", though it remains unclear whether the tracks will form part of a future release or be issued as standalone singles.

The tour launched at Washington DC's 9:30 Club on 23 July 2026 with a 15-song set built around "Midas" favourites such as "Butterflies", "Emily" and "Cathedrals", before the band aired "Promises", a stripped-back song dealing with betrayal and inner conflict, and later "Kerosene", a heavier track drawing comparisons to Queens Of The Stone Age and frontman Jacob Slater's former band Dead Pretties. Since then Wunderhorse have played Brooklyn, Boston and Philadelphia, with Toronto and Montreal's Osheaga Festival dates still to come, before returning to the UK to headline Sheffield's Rock N Roll Circus on 29 August alongside Baxter Dury, English Teacher and Fat Dog, ahead of a support slot with Twenty One Pilots at All Points East.
