## Key points

- LEGO’s first KPop Demon Hunters set features Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird.
- The build devotes about 90 per cent of its instructions to the tiger.
- The review praises the model but says it omits useful cultural context.

## Summary

LEGO’s first KPop Demon Hunters set recreates Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, the supernatural duo who help connect Rumi and Jinu in the film. The review says the set captures Derpy’s strange, endearing look well, but misses a chance to explain the creatures’ role in the story and their roots in Korean art.

The build is mostly Derpy Tiger, with about 90 per cent of the instructions devoted to him. Its blue pieces require careful colour matching, while printed details avoid stickers; the paws move, the tail supports itself and the head turns fully. The tiger and magpie draw on jakhodo paintings from the late Joseon period, where they symbolise strength, fortune and good luck.
