- Album out 23 October via Epitaph, recorded in five days at Electrical Audio
- Band also announce European tour dates for early 2027

## Summary

Punk rock supergroup Fake Names have released the video for their new single Until It's Normal, the first taste of their third studio album, Punk Ruins, due out on 23 October via Epitaph. The band brings together vocalist Dennis Lyxzén (Refused), guitarists Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion) and Michael Hampton, bassist Johnny Temple and new drummer Mario Rubalcaba, and the release is accompanied by newly confirmed European tour dates for early 2027.

The 12-track album was recorded at the late Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago and produced by Matthew Barnhart, with the whole record completed in just five days after the band prepared material remotely beforehand; Lyxzén recorded all his vocals in a single day. Guitarist Baker said the pace was manageable because members had already worked out parts, such as guitar solos, at home in advance, describing the process as "not as hard as you think".
