Wendi McLendon-Covey has joined the cast of 20th’s sequel to cult comedy Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. Her role and the sequel’s plot have not been disclosed, but the casting completes the announced ensemble for a film that brings back the original’s leading duo, Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino.

The sequel began filming in Los Angeles in June and will be released as a Hulu Original in the United States. Alan Cumming, Janeane Garofalo, Camryn Manheim and Julia Campbell are also returning, while Keegan-Michael Key, Rob Huebel, Breckin Meyer and others join in new roles; Tim Federle directs a script by original writer Robin Schiff.
