## Key points

- Nacon’s new PS5 controller is praised for its comfort and premium feel.
- Six extra buttons use responsive microswitches.
- It costs £179.99 / $229 and has asymmetrical thumbsticks.

## Summary

Nacon’s Revolution 5 Unlimited is a premium third-party controller for PS5 and PC, and the review argues that its refined design makes it a strong contender among high-end gamepads. It matters because it offers an alternative to Sony’s controllers with a comfortable, feature-rich design, though its high price will limit its appeal.

The controller costs £179.99 / $229 and has six extra buttons, including four on the rear grips and two shoulder bumpers. Most use light, short-travel microswitches for quick, tactile responses, while rubberised grips and ergonomic shaping contribute to its premium feel. Its asymmetrical thumbsticks may not suit players who prefer PlayStation’s traditional symmetrical layout.
