Arsenal midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly’s future has attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United after a difficult season in which he fell behind other players at left-back. However, Arsenal insist they have not actively offered him to other clubs, while the 19-year-old wants to remain and establish himself as a regular in the first team.

Lewis-Skelly made 75 Arsenal appearances and impressed in pre-season after finishing last term strongly in central midfield, despite Arsenal previously considering offers that could have contributed to a £100m combined valuation with Ethan Nwaneri. Manchester United may need a left-back but want competition for a starting role, while Chelsea are unlikely to pursue him without significant departures because they already have options at left-back and in midfield.
