The White House has posted two TikTok videos promoting its deportation campaign using songs by Bad Bunny and Drake, prompting criticism from fans and renewed scrutiny of artists’ music being used in political messaging. The clips pair immigration-enforcement footage with altered or selected lyrics, while presenting President Donald Trump’s mass-deportation agenda positively.

One video used Bad Bunny’s “La Mudanza” alongside ICE detention footage and text praising Trump; a second used Drake’s “Hoe Phase” with border and detention images, stating that people in the US illegally were “going home”. Both artists have previously criticised Trump or his immigration policies, and Billboard said it had sought comment from their representatives and the White House.
