## Summary

An online fundraiser has raised $28,400 for Jaxton Tayte Collins, who is accused of pushing an Indian man in Helena, Montana, and telling him to “go back to your country”. The campaign, organised by an X user, has drawn support from far-right groups, including a white supremacist organisation, bringing attention to how the case has become a cause for those supporters.

Police say the incident happened on 7 August, when the man was walking with friends and wearing a head covering. Charging documents say Collins admitted shouting at him after leaving a bar but denied shoving him; he has pleaded not guilty to charges of malicious intimidation or harassment and assault. His next court appearance is due in April, and conviction could bring up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
