Wigan Warriors moved to the top of Super League with a comprehensive win over Hull KR on an emotional night at the Brick Community Stadium, held in tribute to the late Sir Billy Boston. The result was significant both for Wigan’s league position and for the club’s commemoration of one of rugby league’s greatest figures, with wreaths laid and Jerusalem sung before kick-off.

Liam Marshall scored his first hat-trick of the season, while Jai Field, Zach Eckersley, Adam Keighran and Jake Wardle also crossed; Keighran added seven goals.
