Los Angeles alt-rock quartet wilt have announced their debut album, when no one’s watching, due for release on 2 October through AWAL. The announcement is accompanied by the new single “dent” and a music video, marking a significant step for a band that has built attention through social media and live showcases.

The 11-track album was written collaboratively in one room and produced by Grammy winner Carlos de la Garza, rather than being self-produced. Its title explores the gap between outward career progress and private mental-health struggles; “dent”, filmed in a shipping container, uses shoegaze-influenced guitar to address depression and self-escape. wilt are currently touring with Jutes and Mothika.
