## Key points

- Sunday lunchtime may be Costco’s busiest period.
- Weekday mornings or evenings could be quieter.
- Holiday eves may draw extra shoppers.

## Summary

Sunday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. may be the most crowded time to shop at Costco, making it harder for customers to browse and queue. The warning matters to shoppers seeking a calmer visit, though busy and quiet periods vary by location.

Shoppers quoted in online discussions recommend going earlier in the day on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday; some say the first or last hour is quieter. Monday may bring fewer crowds, while shelves may be better stocked by Tuesday or Wednesday. The day before a holiday can also be busy, particularly when warehouses close for the holiday.
