## Key points

- Parkinson called for honest reviews after Wrexham’s defeat.
- Wrexham had one shot on target, in the 96th minute.
- They have won three of 13 Championship matches.

## Summary

Phil Parkinson says Wrexham’s players must assess their performances honestly after a poor display in a 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United. He accepted responsibility as manager and said the team had made their opponents look strong in the first half, adding that they must be ready to compete against Middlesbrough next.

Wrexham managed only one shot on target, a tame header in the 96th minute, and made nine passes in the final third in the first half, 68 fewer than Sheffield United. They have won three of 13 league matches and lost three of their past four; Parkinson said he would face any criticism as the club prepares to play promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
