Red Bull will again be without Isack Hadjar for this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza, as the Frenchman continues to recover from a wrist injury sustained over the summer. The 21-year-old, who was promoted to Red Bull's senior team for 2026, has already missed last month's Dutch Grand Prix and his continued absence highlights the team's cautious approach to his recovery amid a tight battle for the constructors' championship.

Hadjar is understood to have broken his wrist while boxing, and Red Bull said on Wednesday that he was making "encouraging progress" but that no "unnecessary risks" would be taken with his return. He will once again be replaced by Liam Lawson, who normally races for sister team Racing Bulls and finished seventh in his last outing for Red Bull; Lawson's Racing Bulls seat will be filled by reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda. Red Bull currently sit fourth in the constructors' standings, behind Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren.
