## Key points

- Arsenal beat Tottenham for their second league win.
- United held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw.
- Birmingham earned their first WSL win of the season.

## Summary

Arsenal came from behind to beat Tottenham in the north London derby, giving them a much-needed second league win after a disappointing start to the season. Alessia Russo said the result was important, though Arsenal’s uneven performance means they still have work to do to recover their campaign.

Manchester United drew 1-1 with defending champions Manchester City, showing clear improvement under new manager Eva Olid after losing 5-0 to Chelsea six weeks earlier. London City Lionesses’ Freya Godfrey scored for a second WSL game in a row in a 2-2 draw with Liverpool, while Birmingham beat Charlton 1-0 for their first league win of the season, despite creating 20 chances and putting only five on target.
