WWE star Nattie zeroes in on AAA women’s title shot at Triplemania 34
WWE star Natalya ("Nattie") is set to compete in a fatal four-way match at AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas on Friday, aiming to become the No. 1 contender for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Her opponents are Faby Apache, La Hiedra and Roxanne Perez, and the winner earns a title shot at Worlds Collide later this month. The bout highlights the growing partnership between WWE and Mexican promotion AAA, bringing together wrestlers with very different backgrounds.
Nattie noted that Faby Apache and La Hiedra come from multi-generational Lucha Libre families, while Roxanne Perez, a member of WWE's Judgment Day faction, will be making her AAA debut. Nattie, who wrestled at Triplemania last year as the "Lowkey Legend," said the match is purely about earning the title opportunity rather than personal rivalries, and that she is prepared to fight hard to climb AAA's women's ranks. Elsewhere on the card, champion Flammer defends her Reina de Reinas title against La Catalina on Night 2 in Mexico City on Sunday.
