WWE performer Chelsea Green has revealed she suffered a broken orbital bone, just days after finally claiming the interim WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam. The injury is the latest setback in what has been a difficult run for Green, adding to a string of physical problems that have plagued her over the past year even as she reached the top of the women's division.

Green had previously dealt with a serious heart issue that required hospitalisation and a medical procedure, on top of other injuries sustained over roughly the last 12 months. Despite these obstacles, she overcame the odds to win the interim title at SummerSlam last weekend, only to now face a broken orbital bone, which she described as another "blip" on her path.
