Deadline reports that Samara Weaving has been selected to play Emma Frost in Marvel Studios’ forthcoming X-Men film, according to sources familiar with the casting. The reported appointment would be a significant early step in assembling the reboot’s mutant team, following Disney’s 2019 acquisition of 20th Century Fox’s Marvel characters; Marvel declined to comment.
