## Key points

- Beetz thinks Domino’s luck could help her take on Doctor Doom.
- Schreiber says Sabertooth’s tenacity and healing powers give him a chance.
- Neither actor has confirmed they will appear in Doomsday.

## Summary

Zazie Beetz and Liev Schreiber were asked whether their X-Men characters, Domino and Sabertooth, could defeat Doctor Doom in the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. Beetz argued that Domino’s luck gives her a flexible advantage, while Schreiber said Sabertooth’s refusal to back down and healing powers could help him survive a fight. Their answers offer playful speculation about the film’s villain, rather than confirmation of who will appear or win.

Domino’s luck has helped her escape danger in Deadpool 2, though it can bring bad fortune to others. Schreiber also suggested Sabertooth may have adamantium by the time of a confrontation. Neither actor has confirmed a role in Doomsday, which is due in UK cinemas on 16 December and elsewhere on 18 December.
