## Key points

- A missing-person case hints at cult activity and Baba Yaga.
- Hudson Williams plays both Henry Park and his roommate Logan.
- The series mixes folk horror, sexual debauchery and social satire.

## Summary

Detective Charlie Rapp arrives in the fishing town of Whittock to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park, a wealthy family’s son. The mystery uncovers possible cult activity and hints at Baba Yaga, the supernatural figure from Slavic folklore, while the series uses the case to explore women’s anger and the male gaze.

Hudson Williams plays both the vain, party-going Henry and his slippery roommate Logan, while Carrie-Anne Moss appears as a morally ambiguous academic and Clark Backo as detective Carson. The show mixes supernatural horror and police investigation with erotic parties, fetish wear and deliberately audacious scenes; its creator, Kat Sandler, makes the result pointed but playful.
