Yamaha introduces the compact B200A soundbar with Dolby Atmos

Engadget · 1 day ago

Yamaha has launched the B200A, a compact soundbar that supports Dolby Atmos surround sound while remaining small enough to fit under most desktop monitors or be wall-mounted. The device targets budget-conscious buyers who want an entry point into immersive audio without a large footprint or a high price tag, making it suitable for both TV setups and desktop gaming.

The B200A measures 23.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches high, houses two speaker drivers plus a built-in subwoofer, and offers a "Bass Extender" mode for extra low-end output. It includes four listening presets and Clear Voice technology to keep dialogue audible, alongside simple connectivity via a single HDMI port, a 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth. It goes on sale in November for $250.
