Yash Officially Unleashes His Darkest Role Yet in ‘Toxic’ Trailer [Exclusive]
Kannada superstar Yash has unveiled the first English-language trailer for "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups," a genre-bending crime drama in which he takes on a double role, marking one of his darkest performances yet. The project is notable for being shot simultaneously in English and Kannada rather than dubbed, giving it what its makers describe as an international, global-facing cinematic style, and it arrives as Indian cinema continues pushing for wider global crossover appeal.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-written by Yash, who also produces, the film features a starry ensemble including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi. The trailer, exclusively revealed by Collider, sets a circus-tinged, visually stylised world built around crime, power, desire and rebellion, blending high-energy action with intimate character moments and violent imagery, including a scene of Yash's character stabbing a woman through the cheeks.
