Josh Lucas, known for playing the younger John Dutton in Yellowstone, has been cast in Paramount+’s forthcoming legal thriller Discretion. The series is being positioned as a potential rival to Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, adding a recognisable television actor to Paramount+’s scripted drama slate.

Lucas’s casting marks his latest television role following Palm Royale, where he appeared alongside Kristen Wiig. His wider credits include American Psycho, A Beautiful Mind, Ford v Ferrari, The Firm and The Mysteries of Laura, underlining his experience across film and television.
