Yoshiki, the Japanese composer, pianist and rock drummer, has announced that acclaimed vocalist Josh Groban will appear as a special guest at his "Yoshiki Classical 2026 In Los Angeles" concerts at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The news follows last week's confirmation that Korn frontman Jonathan Davis will also feature during the two-night engagement, bringing together artists from the classical and metal worlds on a single stage. The pairing is being billed as one of the year's most distinctive live music events, reflecting Yoshiki's wide-ranging collaborations across genres.

The engagement comprises two separate performances with unique setlists: "Scarlet Night" on 16 July and "Violet Night" on 17 July, with Groban set to appear on the latter date. The shows mark Yoshiki's first full U.S. performances since his recovery from a career-threatening third neck surgery, and the setlists are said to draw on his life story. The venue, designed by architect Frank Gehry and home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, is noted for its acoustics, while the promoters say further surprise guests are still to be announced. Last month Yoshiki headlined the inaugural Global Citizen Live concert in Tokyo, where he brought surprise rock guests on stage.
