## Key points

- Samsung’s renewed S24 FE starts at $489 on Amazon.
- A used one cost the writer $329 on Back Market.
- Compare warranties and battery condition across sellers.

## Summary

Samsung has begun selling certified renewed Galaxy phones through Amazon, giving buyers another way to get a discounted handset with a new battery and a one-year warranty. The offer comes as prices for its newest phones have risen, but the renewed models may not be the cheapest option for people willing to compare other sellers.

The renewed Galaxy S24 FE with 128GB storage starts at $489, compared with its $649 launch price and $699 for the current-generation S26 FE. The article’s writer bought the same used S24 FE for $329 on Back Market; it looked new, still had five years of operating system updates and worked well, despite not having a replacement battery. Apple and Google also sell discounted used phones through their online stores, and some third-party sellers offer warranties or new batteries.
