YouTuber Named in Take-Two GTA 6 Leaker Subpoena Insists He Did Nothing Wrong

IGN · 4 hours ago

Take-Two Interactive has issued a DMCA subpoena in a New York federal court seeking information from Microsoft and Discord as it tries to identify who leaked recent GTA 6 gameplay videos online. The filing has drawn in Australian YouTuber Matthew "Matt" Judge, better known as DarkViperAU, whose Discord server was named in the request, prompting him to publicly deny any involvement in the leaks.

The subpoena, filed on 20 August and first reported by Kotaku, targets records tied to an account called "CyberLeek", allegedly responsible for the leaks, and lists several Discord servers including one described as Judge's "editors' server". Judge, who has 2.27 million YouTube subscribers and covered the leaked footage extensively this week, insisted on social media and during a three-hour livestream that he has "done nothing wrong" and has had no contact from Rockstar or Take-Two suggesting he is under suspicion.
