Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been acquitted of three charges of non-consensual sexual penetration following a trial in Perth, Australia. He was convicted of two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, while the jury also acquitted him of strangulation and another assault charge; the outcome matters because prosecutors must now decide whether to retry the unresolved rape allegations.

The case concerned allegations by a 20-year-old woman after Barrientos performed at a Perth nightclub in 2024. He admitted biting her but described the bites as consensual “love bites”, while the woman alleged that he became violent during a consensual encounter; the court was shown photographs of injuries. Barrientos remains on bail until 21 August, when the court is expected to set a sentencing date for the assault convictions.
