## Summary

Yungblud broke his leg in a motorbike accident but has confirmed he will still press ahead with his upcoming European festival dates. The Doncaster-born artist, real name Dominic Harrison, shared images on social media of himself on crutches with his leg bandaged, joking that it was "fucked" but insisting he was "still giggin" and committed to performing despite the injury.

A representative confirmed to Billboard that the minor accident occurred at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, where he had played a live set on 9 August. He went on to fulfil his commitments at Belgium's Pukkelpop and Portugal's CA Vilar de Mouros festivals that week, continuing a heavy touring schedule that has also taken in Lollapalooza and other North American and European shows in support of his double album "Idols". The injury followed his earlier withdrawal from Calgary's Cowboys Music Festival this summer, when he cited the need to "work on myself", and came during a year that has also seen him win his first Grammy, for Best Rock Performance.
