## Summary

Yungblud has withdrawn from his scheduled performance at the Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary, Canada, saying he needs to take time off to "work on myself". The Doncaster musician, real name Dominic Harrison, was due to appear on Sunday 12 July as part of his ongoing 'Idols' world tour, and his cancellation follows recent public comments about his emotional struggles.

In his statement, Harrison apologised to Canadian fans, explaining he was taking time off at home in the UK and "facing head on what's going on for the good of the long term". His management said he is not currently expected to miss further shows, with the tour due to resume in Indianapolis on 28 July, while the festival and figures including SZA, Paloma Faith and Anthrax offered support. The move comes after his headline set at BludFest 2026 in Czechia on 27 June, following which he described feeling "disconnected", spoke of an emotional "breakdown", and reflected on online hate and renewed "industry plant" accusations.
