Zac Brown Gives Every Concert Attendee at Fenway Park a Free Cruise

Consequence · 4 hours ago

Zac Brown Band surprised more than 37,000 fans at Fenway Park on Sunday night by giving every attendee a free cruise for two, in what organisers called the largest surprise audience gift in live entertainment history. The gesture, valued at over $40 million, was announced by Brown just before the band performed its 2021 song "Same Boat," and formed part of the group's ongoing partnership with cruise line Margaritaville at Sea during its 27-date Love & Fear Tour.

The offer expanded a promotion that had previously given only four fans per tour stop a chance to win a trip aboard the company's new Beachcomber ship, extending it instead to the entire Fenway crowd. Beachcomber, due to begin sailing from Miami in January 2027, will feature Same Boat, a live music venue co-designed by Brown and named after his collaboration with the late Jimmy Buffett, billed as the first artist-curated live music venue at sea. The concert also marked the band's 15th consecutive sold-out show at Fenway Park, where it holds the record for most concert tickets sold by an artist, with the Love & Fear Tour continuing through November.
