## Key points

- Release time depends on the region linked to your account.
- San Francisco players may get access at 9 pm on 4 March.
- The game is exclusive to Switch 2.

## Summary

The article’s key practical detail is that the remake is a Switch 2 exclusive and its release time depends on the region linked to a player’s Nintendo Account. Nintendo has not announced exact times, but its eShop games generally launch at midnight in the easternmost time zone of each region.

That means players in New York can expect access at midnight on 5 March, while those in San Francisco may be able to play from 9 pm on 4 March. Linking an account to another region may allow earlier access, though changing an existing account can cause problems because save data is tied to it. The remake includes updated visuals and quality-of-life features; US pre-orders offer a foil-art game case, and the Switch 2 console is sold without the game.
